Biography

Ivan Nicodemus is an Assistant Vice President at PB Americas. He has extensive expertise in planning, programming, and design of transportation and airport facilities, having managed projects for DFW Airport, TxDOT, City of Dallas, City of San Antonio, and Dallas Area Rapid Transit among others. Ivan currently serves as Construction Area Manager for the south central region of PB, responsible for the delivery of projects as diverse as airfield terminals and parking garages, two signature bridges across the Mississippi River, to traffic signal inspection.

Prior to his service as a civil engineer, Ivan supervised operations of 20 aircrews and was responsible for airspace and international air traffic coordination of Air Force operations in the North Atlantic and Europe. He also has civil aviation experience as first officer for Eastern Airlines.

Currently, Ivan serves as the SMU ASCE Student Chapter’s Advisor and Vice Chair on the Advisory Board of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at SMU’s Lyle College of Engineering.
