The North East Texas Branch YM Group has invited us to go camping on Cedar Creek Lake at the Fisherman’s Warf Campgrounds on the weekend of May 2, 2009. (reservations for campsites due by March 4)

The Committee of Younger Members (CYM) is excited to announce we are now accepting nominations for full and corresponding member, due by April 1.
The ASCE Dallas Branch will be hosting a Golf Tournament benefiting the ASCE Scholarship Fund. The tournament will be on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Bear Creek Golf Club-West Course (inside DFW Airport). See flyerfor more information.
The ASCE Dallas Branch YM Group is requesting 3-4 volunteers for this upcoming golf tournament. Help is needed soliciting sponsors, gathering prizes for the goody bags, etc.

Past YM Event Recap
The Dallas Younger Members had a joint Happy Hour with TSPE on February 2nd and had a great turnout. We met at Sherlock’s at 75 & Park Lane. There were door prizes (3-$20 & 2-$25 gift cards) given out by our sponsor Premier Crete and TSPE. Thanks to everyone that joined us; it was a lot of fun.
In the future, it’s our goal to have a younger member happy hour every 4-6 weeks with TSPE in hopes that we can build a great networking opportunity for engineers of all ages within the area.
