The Nominating Committee has choosen the following slate of candidates for election to each office as follows:
Past President – Rachel Hayden, P.E. (Previous President)
President – Jeff Hawkins, P.E. (Previous President Elect)
President Elect – Doug Smith, P.E. (Previous Vice President)
Vice President – Sean Merrell, P.E.
Treasurer – Noopur Jain, P.E. (2 Yr Term)
Secretary – Douglas Chastain, P.E.
Younger Member Director (Branch Director)* – Audrey Demeter, E.I.T. (Must be a younger member)
Senior Director (Technical Director)* – Kristin Green, P.E.
Texas Section Director – Angela Matthews, P.E.
* The current ASCE Dallas Bylaws and Rules of Operation have these two positions listed as Younger Member Director and Senior Director. Pending final adoption of the revised Bylaws after the Texas Section Board reviews and approves them, these positions will be renamed Branch Director and Technical Director.
On Monday, August 16 the official election form was sent by email to all Subscribing Members (i.e. Texas Section/Dallas Branch Dues Paying Members) with the above slate of candidates. The elections will be open until Friday, September 10. Please notify Sean P. Merrell, if you had trouble voting online or if you did not recieve your voting ID number by email.
