Doug Janeway — Project Team Leader for the Texas Stadium Project is the Assistant Director of Real Estate Services for the City of Irving. Doug is responsible for all real property acquisitions, including rights-of-way and easements, leases and the sale and management of surplus real property for all city departments and management of the city’s mineral rights. Over the last seventeen years, in addition to the current Texas Stadium Demolition and Redevelopment Project, some of the more interesting projects that Doug has been involved with include the DART Orange Line Project, State Highway 183 expansion, Heritage District Project, executing gas leases on over 2,000 acres of city property, the Lake Chapman Pipeline Project, management, rehabilitation and sale of an 88-pad mobile home park, and relocation of approximately 100 mobile homes and their families.

 

Doug holds a Master’s Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University, Texas Real Estate Salesman's License, Texas State General Certified Real Estate Appraiser, SR/WA Professional Designation #4364 from the International Right-of-Way Association and has served IRWA Chapter 36 as the Professional Development Committee Chairman and the Membership Committee Chairman.
