About two months ago I asked you to support the ASCE Dallas Branch GB Mann Scholarship Fund. With interest rates on the fund being so low in recent years, the golf tournament, which we alternate hosting with the Fort Worth Branch, is the primary source of revenue for the scholarship at the present time. The ASCE Educational Committee will be hosting an event at the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science on Sunday, June 17. ASCE will be doing a water-related program for children that day, in conjunction with the current Planet Shark: Predator and Prey exhibit.
