Topic: Enhancing Public Involvement with 4D Modeling
Mr. Nabeel Khwaja has spent over 13 years working on various TxDOT construction, design and maintenance projects, including but not limited to, (1) the $200+ million reconstruction of US 75 corridor projects S1 and S2 in Dallas; (2) the $262 million construction of the Dallas High Five project; (3) the $90 million construction of the I-35E/SH 190 interchange in Carrollton. He is currently involved in developing technical contract specifications on large CDA and Design-Build projects of TxDOT.
Nabeel has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering. He has extensive field experience while working in the TxDOT construction project offices. In fiscal year 2009 he co-lead the establishment of TxDOT’s Project Management Office by developing and implementing the project management function within TxDOT for managing its vast portfolio of planning, design and construction projects. Since then, Nabeel has played key role in various TxDOT initiatives responsible for the development of its 4-year work plan; Project Development Plan (PDP-2012) and other related initiatives.
