Christmas Is For Caring
Dallas Branch of ASCE Christmas 2011 Project KRLD has a “Christmas is for Caring” program supporting the Denton State School (DSS). The DSS is a residential facility housing over 600 people, with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. The majority of the people who live at the DSS have severe and profound retardation, and over half the population require powerchairs or wheelchairs to get around the campus. December Younger Member Happy Hour
Our December Younger Member Happy Hour will be next Thursday, December 15th from 5:30 – 7:30. We will be in Addison this month, at the Social House. It is located at 5100 Belt Line Road, in the shopping center at the corner of Montfort and Belt Line near Blue Mesa. There is also a very special door prize that will be given away. Engineers without Borders Year End Fund Drive
The National Engineers Without Borders is a hosting a year end fund drive and are matching any contribution made to the local chapters. All donations must be done to the EWB-USA Chapter’s General Fund through the webpage http://www.ewb-usa.org/2011giving , EWB-USA year-end mail solicitation piece, or the Donate By Mail Form (‘THE donation STORY’) to qualify for the matching funds program. Also, please identify The North Texas Professional Chapter in the fill-out form.
